Every nonprofit that I have worked with has an unfortunate story - a direct hate incident, a feeling of being watched, of parents calling to ask how the school is making sure their children are safe. Here are a few of those stories.

The synagogue had suspicious people drive past the building several times and the security systems of the facility had not been updated for many years. After receiving the maximum amount allowed in the federal process ($150,000), this organization was able to meet many of its security needs, including new exterior fencing and gates.

The front and sides of the building are made of glass, exposing it and those who use the facility to heightened vulnerabilities. Through a federal grant, this building is able to add a layer of security film to every first level window of the building.

With other like schools receiving bomb threats, there was a need to upgrade the security at the main and downtown campuses of the facility with door locks and window coating. A grant submission for both needs at two locations was submitted through the work of Adam Bronstone.

Through a state security grant process, this organization was able to afford the hiring of additional trained security personnel for an entire calendar year of worship services.
